What we collect
Account data: your email address and authentication records. Site data: the URLs you scan and the technical results of those scans (scores, findings, page metadata, DNS/email-configuration records, robots.txt contents). Connected sources: if you connect Google Search Console or Microsoft Clarity, we store the metrics those services return for your site. Billing: handled by Stripe — we store your subscription status and Stripe identifiers, never card numbers. Support: emails you send us.
How we use it
To run scans and monitoring, build your reports and history, send the emails you signed up for (account emails, report links, alerts, weekly digests, and occasional site-health tips — unsubscribe anytime), process payments, respond to support, and improve the service. Scan content is also processed by Anthropic's AI to generate your recommendations and report copy. We do not sell personal data.
Who processes it for us
Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Google (PageSpeed API; Search Console where connected), Microsoft (Clarity, where connected), and Anthropic (AI processing). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
Retention and deletion
Scan history and metrics are kept while the related site remains on your account — that history is the product. To delete your account and its data, email support@shiftmysite.io from your account address; we will cancel any active subscription and delete your account data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email us and we will honor them. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not track you across other websites.
